A family home.

The moment you step inside, you'll understand. Warm light through arched windows. Bouclé sofas. The soft rhythm of a home that lives for its guests. This is where your dog vacations.

  • Real couches. Real beds. Real blankets.
  • Dogs roam freely between rooms and yard.
  • Personal attention from a family, not a staff.
  • No warehouse. No concrete runs. No rows of kennels.
  • Small groups — often just two or three guests.
  • Every dog is treated as though they were our own.

Meet Wendy

The heart
of the home.

Our goal isn't simply boarding your dog. It's giving them a second family while you're away.

Wendy founded OC Paw House with a single conviction: that a dog's time away from home should feel every bit as loved as their time in it. Years of hospitality, quiet expertise, and an unshakeable love of dogs guide every stay.

Questions

Everything
worth knowing.

A curated set of answers. For anything else, please reach out — we'd love to speak with you personally.

What vaccinations do you require?

Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella must all be current. We ask for records at the meet-and-greet.

Do you provide food?

We prefer you bring your dog's regular food to keep their routine consistent. Pre-portioned meals are ideal.

Can you administer medication?

Yes. We are experienced with oral medications, injections, and specialized routines. Please discuss at booking.

What happens in an emergency?

Wendy is on-site 24 hours a day. We have an established relationship with a nearby veterinary hospital and will contact you immediately.

Is a Meet & Greet required?

Yes, always — for your dog's comfort and ours. Meet-and-greets are complimentary and typically last 30–45 minutes.

When are drop-off and pickup?

By reservation. We accommodate early mornings and late evenings to fit your travel schedule.
